Photograph of an Immature Bald Eagle. This image was taken at the Strathcona Raptor Shelter east of the City of Edmonton. This place is a safe haven where people that find injured birds of prey, they contact the Raptor Shelter and they have the facility to bring these birds back to health and to be released back into the wild.

Name: Terry Elniski Home: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada My career in photography started back in 1980, where I started and completed a 2 year Photographic Technology course at NAIT in Edmonton. From there I freelanced for the Edmonton Eskimos Football Club being there team photographer from the mid 1980's to the early 1990's For most of my career I was doing darkroom work and electronic pre-press work for the Edmonton Journal starting in 1984 til 2009. All along that time I have had a love for the outdoors. Which included many trips to the Canadian Rockies, particularly Jasper and Banff National Parks.
