Description
You know clouds really add and takes a sunrise or sunset image to the next level. In this case that is very true. I got up about 45 minutes or so before the scheduled sunrise and noticed a very special sky over the east end of Edmonton. I took photos every minute or two minutes and the sky was changing right before my eyes, with color and moving in of more cloud cover. So I continued to photograph until just before sunrise the different stages of this sunrise. My location is from my balcony overlooking the North Saskatchewan River towards the Strathcona Refinery.
This first one was taken about 30 minutes before sunrise.
