Crater Lake is a caldera lake that was formed some 7700 years ago, by the collapse of the volcano Mount Mazama. Lava eruptions later created a central platform which is known as Wizard Island. Crater Lake is known for its deep blue color and water clarity.

From there I freelanced for the Edmonton Eskimos Football Club being there team photographer from the mid 1980's to the early 1990's For most of my career I was doing darkroom work and electronic pre-press work for the Edmonton Journal starting in 1984 til 2009. All along that time I have had a love for the outdoors. Which included many trips to the Canadian Rockies, particularly Jasper and Banff National Parks.
