The 81st Grey Cup in 1993 was won by the Edmonton Eskimos over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 33-23. Played in Calgary, Ab, the Eskimos pulled out to a 21-0 lead and never fell behind. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers lost the ball seven times on turnovers resulting in 23 points the Edmonton Eskimos scored. Eskimos QB Damon Allen was named Grey Cup MVP and Place Kicker Sean Fleming also of Edmonton won Grey Cup Most Valuable Canadian award.
